Rise East is a 10-year collective effort to make deep and lasting improvements in the health and well-being of Black children and families in East Oakland. This community-led movement envisions a neighborhood rebirth rooted in cultural identity, economic strength, and deep collaboration across sectors. To bring this ambitious vision to life, Rise East needed a comprehensive comms plan to build awareness, deliver earned-media, and inspire funders.
